Kids will be delighted to find a collection of toys that foster open-ended play, experimentation and creativity. Everyone is welcomed in the Playroom, and with no rules or opportunities for winning and losing, everyone’s ideas are celebrated and encouraged. With 6 uniquely handcrafted toys to explore at launch, children will exercise critical developmental skills as they build, tinker, create, experiment and best of all, have a lot of fun!

There is no text or menus for kids to navigate, and with gentle animations and sounds, they can stay calm and engaged — not overstimulated and distracted.
Last week we shared that Snowman has been incubating Pok Pok: a brand new studio centred around play-based learning experiences for kids.
Pok Pok grew from an idea two parents (and artists) from the team had about how to improve their own children’s digital play experiences. Even the name, “Pok Pok” came from a sound they would make when trying to get a smile out of their newborn! Because the Pok Pok mission has grown from such personal roots, you can always expect the team to create from this place.
After years of studying how young minds play and learn, working with educational advisors and most importantly, kids, they’ve learned so much about how play can empower this next generation of creative thinkers. The Playroom may be officially out today, but our friends behind Pok Pok are dedicated to always expanding their knowledge in these areas so that they can continue to serve your family best. As the Playroom is updated and the studio dreams up more ways to spark learning through play, part of this research means connecting with families just like yours to hear about your experience with the Playroom.
